In past weeks we’ve heard from some of the job coaches and employment training coordinators at ELITE Supported Employment Agency. But these aren’t the only people working hard behind the scenes…

Tracy Moore, Admin Assistant

What is your role on Engage to Change?

As the Admin Assistant, I am first point of call for referrals and then manage the circulation and recording of client information and data for the project. I also do all the administration functions for the team and maintain confidentiality of all client records.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

Hearing all the success stories from the team and client contact by phone.

What has been your proudest Engage to Change moment?

Seeing a recent interview by Gerraint Jones-Griffiths and how much he has gained in confidence since being on this programme.

Tell us a few of your favourite things…

Listening to music, and spending time with my growing family, children and grandchildren.

Benny Griffiths, Volunteer Co-ordinator

What is your role on Engage to Change?

My role on Engage to Change is to recruit, train and support volunteers across South Wales.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

It’s never a dull or slow moment in this job – the fast-paced nature keeps me on my toes! I get the chance to speak to a lot of people and see a lot of places around South Wales. Above all else, I get to work with so many kind and good willed people – working towards such a great cause puts the biggest smile on my face.

What has been your proudest Engage to Change moment?

I’ve had the chance to see a lot of the people that we’ve helped with first hand. The project has had some great success stories from the guys and girls we assist – seeing them in work and enjoying their roles… it’s hard to pick one moment out of them all!

Tell us a few of your favourite things…

Rugby is a big part of my life. I volunteer at Bridgend Ravens rugby club as part of their media team. I also surf and windsurf quite a lot – while most people hate bad weather, I usually grab a wetsuit and find the nearest beach!
