I’ve attended a couple of meetings this month as well as continuing with the Friday Fun Hours.

On 23 February I attended the Engage to Change Communications sub-group. This is a group that looks at how we can best promote the project and communicate our aims to ensure that we reach as many people as possible.

I was asked to speak at the Project Partnership sub-group meeting on 25 February about my role and the people I’ve worked with over the past couple of years.

The Friday Fun Hours continue to go well and we have some new participants who have been signposted to the fun hour from the Engage to Change supported internships. It’s always great to have new people join us.

I’m offering refresher training to the Ambassadors this week. We’re refreshing our knowledge of the presentations we give to potential candidates for Engage to Change. I’m really looking forward to giving this training.

We have an online event on 24 March around what needs to happen in Wales to enable people with a learning disability to access employment – I’ll feedback on this event next month.
