Since 2016 the Engage to Change project has been working across Wales to support young people aged 16-25 who have a learning difficulty, learning disability and/or autism to achieve their full potential. We work closely with young people, parents/carers and employers to overcome barriers to employment, develop transferable skills, increase confidence and offer opportunities to access work placements.

We have noticed that more young men apply to take part in the project than young women and this is something we want to change. We want to encourage young women with a learning disability and/or autism to think about employment as part of their future. We want to inspire them with stories of women who have achieved success in their working lives, whether through the Engage to Change project or other means.

Join us for an uplifting event about the positive impact employment can have on the lives of young women with a learning disability and/or autism in Wales.
