Congratulations to our Engage to Change DFN Project SEARCH team at Cardiff University who recently won the Business and Partner Award at Cardiff and Vale College‘s Annual Awards Evening! This was a wonderful achievement considering the stiff competition also up for the award, and once again a testament to the effective partnership working of the project and the hard work of all those involved to make our first year such a success.

Congratulations also to Andrew Horley, the very first DFN Project SEARCH graduate in Wales to gain paid employment. Andrew won the Foundation Studies Award during the Awards Evening, a recognition of his own work and the notable progress he has made in terms of skills, experience, and confidence during his time on the programme. Well done Andrew!
