DFN Project SEARCH is a one-year internship programme supporting young people with learning disabilities and/or autism to gain the skills and experience to move into paid employment. In Wales, DFN Project SEARCH is being funded as part of the wider Engage to Change project.

Cardiff University is the first host employer to run DFN Project SEARCH in Wales, and one of only three universities in the UK. Twelve young people aged 16-25 have been recruited to work across the University in a laboratory, office or retail environment with the support of Cardiff and Vale College and ELITE Supported Employment Agency.
