Gerraint on Facebook LiveDue to lockdown I’ve not been out and about with the Engage to Change Project events. But don’t worry, I’ve been keeping my presentation skills fresh so that I’m ready to get straight back into action once it’s safe to get out again!

I’ve been doing a Facebook live show every Friday, with the support of my girlfriend. It’s a bit of a talk show with some singing in between. I do a lot of the singing, including special requests from the virtual audience. My girlfriend does some singing too.
I do the show in my own time, and we’re getting about 300 views per show on average. The first show got 605 views!

This has been a great experience to keep my presentation skills going while I can’t get out and about with the project, and it’s really helping with my personal development.Co-presenting remotely has been a bit of a challenge, but it’s been a great opportunity to build on my previous presentation skills.

After talking on Messenger with some friends who have watched the show, it gives me a real boost to realise how I’ve given people a lift from the lockdown blues. It’s good to know that I’m helping to keep people connected and spreading some happiness in difficult times!
