Richard and Jaco: Life With Autism became the winner of two awards at the BAFTA Cymru ceremony on Sunday night.  The programme won the Single Documentary award, and Laura Martin-Robinson and Claire Hill won the Director: Factual award  for their work on the programme.

The documentary followed actor Richard Mylan and his son Jaco, who has autism, on a journey to discover what could lie ahead for Jaco as he goes through various transitions in his life. Along the way, Richard visited the Learning Disability Wales office to meet Gerraint, the administrative assistant for Engage to Change at the time, and hear from him about his journey to employment with the support of the project. Richard also spoke to Engage to Change Project Manager Jenna Trakins.

This moving and inspirational documentary fully deserves its plaudits, and we are proud that Engage to Change was a part of it.
